Ok, you’ve found us – Sky Dragoons – and are interested in joining us.

Are you sure? Are you really really sure?

First of all, make sure you’ve read the post on Guild Information for what we’re about and don’t get disappointed that the guild isn’t what you were hoping for…like usual raid start times.

Also, have a quick look up on the Guild Rules – they’re very brief, and basically common sense.

So, on to the actual application process…

Theres a few basic bits of info we need to know:

Char Name / Class / Lvl / Usual and preferred raid role

Eg. Eilikki / Shaman / 70 / Caster DPS

But then the rest of the application is free form – its up to you how to decide on what information to provide – this is after all an open (moderated) forum. Useful info like how often you can raid, raiding background, something about yourself – you decide. However, the more info you provide the more confident we can be in providing that invite. Saying why you want to join Sky Dragoons in particular is an important bit of info to provide

Why an application process like this when most guilds have a very defined list of questions?

This is a small tight-knit guild, so every member that joins is very important, and by the applicant deciding what to write and in a format of their own choosing it tells us far more about the person behind the toon than a long list of questions and answers….and a guild community is about the people behind the toons. A brief application provides little information for us to work with, so is unlikely to be successful - after all, you havent really let us know much about you and how you're going to fit into the guild...or not, as the case may be.

So GL with your applications, and don’t be downcast if it isn’t successful.
